calf raises are very good exercises for calf toning, they can be done easily and are quite effective!
to do a simple calf raise just stand in place, raise up to your tiptoes, and lower back down. do a set of how many you feel comfortable with, since you’re new to exercising i’d recommend 20 raises to begin.
it seems like an exercise you couldn’t get much out of, but it helped me tone up a great deal! now that i’m more experienced with exercise i can do 100-300 at a time and feel an ENORMOUS burn.
you can also do them with weights for added toning!
i sent OP an ask about this already but the book is skinny by ibi kaslik!! reblogging for my followers in case any of you have also seen this & wanted to read it (warning: it’s depressing and yeah very ED-related but i enjoyed it a lot and own a copy!)Ok, I’ve seen a book at Target that was black, soft cover, had a lime green popsicle on the front cover and I know it was an ED related book.
Does ANYONE know the title? ANYONE at all? I’ve spaced it and it’s driving me mad. :c
